Quick answers to the questions families ask most often. If yours isn’t here, send us a message.
General
Start with the age range, theme and format in the announcement.
You’re also welcome to tell us your child’s age, what they enjoy and anything that might affect how they take part. We’ll explain what’s planned so you can decide. Every child responds to an activity differently.
Yes, and we’re happy to talk it through.
Tell us the children’s rough ages, how many are coming, the dates you have in mind, a possible venue and what you’d like the children to get out of it. We’ll tell you what’s possible.

Bookings and safety
Your spot is confirmed only after payment has been made and verified. Please send us your payment slip after paying. We’ll reply with your booking confirmation once we’ve verified it.
Cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable. If you tell us at least 2 hours before the session begins, your booking can be transferred to a future session.
If we need to reschedule, relocate or cancel a session, we’ll contact you on the mobile number you provided as early as we can. You can choose between the new arrangement and a full refund of any fees paid.
Please stay home if anyone coming has a cough, flu, fever or is otherwise unwell, and let us know as soon as you can. We’ll do our best to transfer your booking to a future session.
If a child or adult arrives at a session unwell, we may ask them to go home straight away.
We occasionally take photos to document our work. Before we publish any of them, we crop out or cover children’s faces, and we’ll take down a specific photo if you ask us to.
If you’d rather we didn’t photograph your child at all, tell us or any member of staff and we’ll stop straight away.
You’re welcome to photograph your own child. Please keep other children out of your shots where you can, and check with their caregivers before sharing anything that shows them.
Disagreements between children are expected, and most settle without an adult stepping in. Conflict is a normal part of children learning to be together.
If a situation escalates to physical aggression, we may ask you to guide your child to another station or take a short break. It isn’t a judgement on you or your child. We do it to keep everyone safe, and your child can carry on playing once things have settled.
Sensory play
Younger babies come free when they’re with an older sibling who is joining the session.
If the baby would be the only child taking part, we suggest waiting a little longer. In the meantime, try simple sensory play at home: a soft washcloth, a favourite blanket or the sound of water poured between 2 cups.
No. Materials are chosen to suit the age group, and some activities include tasting when it’s safe, but plenty of materials aren’t meant to be eaten. We brief caregivers on what isn’t edible before the session begins, and caregivers stay close and supervise throughout.
We also avoid materials small enough to be a choking risk whenever we can. If a session does use any, we’ll tell you before it starts.
Tell us about any allergies before you come, and ask if you’re unsure about a particular material.
No. A child can use a scoop instead of their hands, watch from nearby, stay at one favourite activity all morning or leave a material alone entirely.
We never push a child to join in. Watching, pausing and getting used to the room all count as taking part.
No. Sensory play isn’t a drop-off activity. A caregiver stays with the child for the whole session, joining the play and giving the reassurance young children need from someone familiar.
Each booking needs at least 1 adult for every 3 children. Each parent or caregiver remains responsible for their own child’s care, supervision and safety throughout the session.
Yes to both. Adults are welcome to play alongside their child, and a helper can count as one of the attending adults. Please list every adult on the booking form.
It depends on the child and the session. Children can approach the room gradually and choose how they take part, but every child’s needs and every set-up are different.
Contact us before booking with the details. We’ll describe the materials and the space planned for that session and talk through whether it’s a good fit.
We bring the materials and handle set-up and clean-up.
Sensory play is joyfully messy. Wear comfortable clothes that can get wet or stained, and dress your child the same way. The announcement for each session lists anything specific to bring.
Please keep an eye on your own belongings. We can’t take responsibility for items lost or damaged during a session.
Workshops
Not yet. No dates are announced for now. Please WhatsApp or DM us on Instagram to express your interest.
Usually, yes, if they’re close in age and one is only just outside the stated range. Check with us before booking so we can confirm the workshop suits both and plan how they’ll take part together.
No. Workshops are for learning and practising. Nobody is expected to arrive already knowing how to do the activity.
